Public business records may identify sole traders, employees, owners or officers and therefore contain personal data. This notice explains the intended business-database processing; it does not make every public record freely reusable.
Martin Adamec is responsible for the operator’s database processing. Contact details are below.
Depending on the source and agreed export, records can include business name, registration identifiers, legal form, business address, published business phone, email and website, industry and named business representatives. A sole trader’s business address may also be a home address. Scope is specified before supply; sensitive personal data and consumer credit eligibility uses are not offered.
Source categories include publicly published company contact or legal-notice pages and public business registers where the particular retrieval and reuse are permitted. The methodology page describes regional coverage, including Czech ARES and business-register sources. German sources and permitted retrieval must be established for each export before collection or supply; no unrestricted bulk-register entitlement is asserted. Ask us for the available source information concerning your record.
The purpose is to organise business information and provide agreed B2B exports for market research, business-data maintenance and lawful business contact. Export purchase is not marketing consent or proof of contact reachability. We do not use these records for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on individuals.
For personal business data, the intended basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: the operator’s and customers’ interests in reliable business information. Necessity and the effect on affected people must be assessed for the actual source, fields and use. Public availability alone does not settle that assessment. Data minimisation, source limits, corrections, objections and suppression are relevant safeguards; processing must not proceed where the legal conditions are unmet.
Recipients may include business customers receiving the agreed fields, hosting or IT providers where needed, professional advisers and competent authorities. Before disclosure, the purpose, lawful basis and recipient requirements must be assessed. Customers have their own information, security and rights-handling duties.
An export or access outside the EEA containing personal data requires a case-specific GDPR transfer assessment and the applicable mechanism. Contact us for information about any relevant destination and safeguards; disclosure is not justified simply because a customer purchased the data.
Business records are retained only while needed for the stated purpose and lawful to retain, considering source currency, changes, objections and legal duties. Outdated or unnecessary personal data must be corrected or removed. Minimal suppression identifiers are retained while needed to avoid re-inclusion, with review. Rights correspondence is kept as necessary to resolve and document the request or legal claims; ordinary uncompleted enquiries have the separate 12-month limit.
You may request access, source information, correction, erasure, restriction and portability where applicable. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your situation; direct-marketing objections require no reason. We then stop that use. For other objections, further processing requires overriding compelling grounds or legal claims as provided by law. Use the objection form or contact us directly. We normally reply within one month and explain any lawful extension within that month.
You may complain to the Czech Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (uoou.gov.cz) or any other competent supervisory authority, including in the country where you live or work.
Where Art. 14 GDPR applies, individual information must be provided within the applicable deadline: normally within one month, or earlier at first communication or disclosure. Any exception must have a documented legal basis; public availability or volume alone is not an exemption. This page supplements that obligation and does not automatically replace individual notice.
This notice is updated when relevant sources, purposes or processing change. The current version date appears above.
