Pricing

Pricing: how the price of an export is set

We do not publish a fixed price list yet. Each export is compiled for your request, and we state the price in the quote – together with the number of records, the columns and the data status, before you order anything.

All prices are final prices · one-off payment, no subscription · page last updated: 13 October 2026

In brief

  • The price is mainly determined by industry, region and the fields every record must contain.
  • You receive a written quote; only your acceptance turns it into an order.
  • One-off payment, no term. The price in the quote is the final price.
  • Compare quotes by the price per usable record, not by the price per row.

What is fixed

  • Quote before you order. You know the scope, columns, data status and price before you decide. The request itself costs nothing.
  • One-off purchase. You pay for one export and keep the file. There is no subscription and no notice period.
  • Final prices. The amount in the quote is the amount you pay.
  • Same structure for all industries. Fifteen columns as CSV, or XLSX or JSON on request – described under Export and sample file.

What determines the price

We can only make a quote for a specific selection. We need the following details because they determine how many records are delivered and how much work compiling them takes:

Details needed for a quote and how they affect the scope of the export.
DetailExampleWhy it matters
Industryone of the 15 industries or WZ codesThe industries vary greatly in size. The official figure per industry shows the size of the market, not the scope of an export.
Regionall of Germany, individual federal states or districtsThe number of businesses depends heavily on the state – see Businesses by federal state.
Required fieldsonly records with a phone number or a websiteRequired fields narrow the selection down to the records you can actually use for your channel.
Columns and formatall columns as CSV or only some as XLSXThe standard is a CSV with all columns; we agree any deviations in the quote.
CountryGermany or another countryThere is no ready-made catalogue for other countries; we check what can be delivered for each request individually.
Delivery frequencyone-off or regularThe standard is a one-off delivery; regular deliveries are agreed separately.

How to compare quotes

Two quotes for company addresses can only be compared if they describe the same selection: the same industry, the same region and the same required fields. Then divide the price by the number of records you can really use for your channel – for a phone campaign, by the number of records with a phone number. There is a worked example in the guide Buying company addresses: what to check.

Also check whether a price applies once, monthly or annually, whether VAT is added and whether you buy the data or only rent it for individual mailings. The page Company databases compared compares the types of providers and sources.

What the price does not include

  • No marketing consent. An export contains no consent to email marketing; under § 7 UWG this applies towards businesses as well. Details: B2B cold outreach and § 7 UWG.
  • No guarantee of delivery or reachability. Email addresses are not checked for deliverability, phone numbers not for reachability, and not every record contains every field.
  • No legal advice. Whether your use is lawful depends on your purpose and approach.

Frequently asked questions about pricing

Why is there no price list?

Because we compile each export for the specific request and are still having the sources for Germany legally reviewed (see Data sources and methodology). As long as we cannot say how many records an industry contains with which fields, a fixed price per industry would be a figure without a basis. Instead, you receive a quote for your selection.

What does the quote include?

Country, industries, region and filters, the columns and the format, the expected number of records, the data status, the price and the expected delivery date. A contract is only concluded once you accept the quote.

Is there a subscription or a minimum term?

No. You pay once for an export. Regular deliveries are possible if you want them; we then agree on frequency and price separately.

Is the price in the quote a final price?

Yes. All firmenkontaktdaten.de prices are final prices; nothing is added to the amount in the quote.

How quickly will I receive a quote?

We usually reply within one working day. For requests for countries other than Germany, we first check that country’s public sources; this can take longer, and we will tell you when you can expect an answer.

Can I see what the file looks like beforehand?

Yes. The sample file shows all columns with entirely fictitious companies and can be downloaded free of charge. It shows the structure, not the quality of a real export – for that, the quote states the number of records and the data status.

Want to size the market first?

The official number of businesses per industry and per federal state shows the maximum size a target group can have.
