Our focus is Germany with fifteen industries. If you need businesses from Austria, France, Poland or another country, we compile the list for your request – as CSV, Excel or JSON, one-off and without a subscription.
30,741,954 businesses in the 26 other EU member states according to Eurostat, Structural Business Statistics (sbs_ovw_act), reference year 2024 (data updated 30 September 2026). Not a figure from our dataset.
How it works
For other countries, there is no ready-made catalogue on this website. What can be delivered depends on the public sources and the legal situation in the target country – so we clarify it before every quote.
Country, industry or activity (ideally as a NACE or WZ code), region and the fields every record should contain.
We check the country’s public registers and sources and state the scope, columns, data status and price. All prices are final prices.
After your confirmation, you receive the export as a CSV in UTF-8, or as XLSX or JSON on request.
For 2024, Eurostat counts a total of 33,978,235 enterprises in industry, construction and market services in the EU-27, 3,236,281 of them in Germany. The table shows the other 26 member states. These are official statistics, not figures from our dataset; public administration, agriculture and membership organisations are not included.

No, there is no industry catalogue for other countries like the one for Germany. We compile the data for your request and tell you beforehand what can be delivered from public sources. For the Czech Republic, we already have our own database of 4,404,295 economic entities (as of 09/12/2026).
It counts enterprises in industry, construction and market services (NACE sections B to S excluding public administration and membership organisations) in 2024: 33,978,235 in the EU-27, 3,236,281 of them in Germany. The figure describes the market, not our dataset (Eurostat, Structural Business Statistics (sbs_ovw_act), data updated 30 September 2026).
No. Each country decides for itself whether businesses may be contacted by email or phone; the GDPR applies in addition throughout the EU.
