A company database is only as trustworthy as the person who builds it. That is why you will find here who runs the website, where the data comes from, how we work with it – and what we deliberately do not do.

The data and the website are looked after by one person who has worked with public registers for years. So emails are answered by the person who actually prepares the data. We would rather state openly what is missing from the data than promise a completeness we cannot prove.

What we offer

How the data is compiled

This is how our databases for Germany and the Czech Republic are built:

  1. Register data. Name, legal form, registered office and company identification number (IČO) come from the official Czech registers.
  2. Public contact details. Phone, email address and website come from publicly accessible company websites.
  3. Matching and cleaning. We only assign contact details to a record when identifying features match, we standardise formats and remove duplicates.

German data draws on public sources: Overture Maps, Market Master Data Register (MaStR), GLEIF, company websites and HWK/BStBK directories. The commercial register can be inspected entry by entry under § 9 HGB – bulk transfer of register data is not part of our approach. What we do not do

  • We do not buy in old lists. Our Czech database is based on official registers and public sources, not on resold address lists of unclear origin.
  • We do not supply consumer data. The data is exclusively B2B: companies, self-employed people and institutions.
  • We do not sell email lists for marketing mailings. Under § 7(2) no. 2 UWG, email advertising requires prior express consent, which an export does not contain.
  • We do not promise complete accuracy. Registers contain errors, contact details go out of date. We state data status and coverage and correct errors that are reported to us.
  • We do not take over your legal review. As a buyer, you are responsible for your own use of the data.
