In the statistics it appears in exactly one place – where its main activity lies, often in trade (45.11). If you only ask for class 45.20, you get the independent workshops and miss the dealerships’ workshops.
For most suppliers of workshop equipment, the combination of 45.11 and 45.20.3 is therefore the right selection. Used car dealers without a workshop cannot be filtered out using the code.
Dealership groups operate several locations under one or more companies. A record represents the company, not the branch. Incidentally, petrol stations do not belong to division 45 but to retail trade.
